Once we get all settled, or at least all moved, will post a few pictures of our new space.
Welcome to our World!

We finally bought a car yesterday afternoon. Why I said “finally”? Because this car took our almost 1 month, over and over again, we lost both of our patient, finally it was done!!! I can’t image what will happen if we couldn’t pick up the car yesterday, Andy probably would jump as high as our new apartment! Anyway, we got our first car!!! Ford&<60; Focus. One of Andy’s favorite cars. We both excited about it, we drove home from downtown yesterday afternoon, however, I missed a very important client meeting yesterday, We drove our car to have dinner and shopping last night, we just “showed off”. Whenever Andy noticed someone stared at our car or him, he will have a huge smile on his face waving his hands and saying ” I love it!”.
We drove to work this morning, I was very excited, so were Andy. He made a cd full with love songs, air supply’s, eagles…..Andy was too excited about our new car, he became very nervous, he wanted me to “help”him parking, actually the guard didn’t say anything but give him a pass card!!!
He didn’t stop showing off, he drove to sea world this noon for lunch, you guys should know which is almost half an hour driving from his office to sea world, but he did it, he drove to sea world, parked in front of Wastons, ( because there are a lot of people around Watons everyday), went into the Subway, ordered one sandwich, went out of the Subway and got into the car, drove back to his office, he took 1 hour to show our new car off, which is sooo cute, after he came back to his office, he chatted with me on MSN, he asked me how was my lunch, I said ok, and I asked his lunch, he said he ate outside, and I asked him where did he go, he said he just cross the street. Alright! CROSS THE STREET. Because there is a KFC near to his office, just need to cross the street, but he was just playing words game with me, he said cross the street, which not means he walked and cross the street to get KFC,but means he went to our car which parked cross the street…..He cross the street and got into the car! and showed off in sea world!!!
I am starting to worry about my “face”, because I can’t drive, but now every guards in our garden knew we bought a new car, every guard noticed we back our garden with a car these days, what I am worrying about is Andy will go to Guangzhou next week, which means I can’t take drive anymore, I have to get up and walk on the street waiting for the f*** taxi again!!! Please!!! I am just tired of waiting and taking taxi… I want to drive!!!! I need to learn fast how to drive!
Been an interesting week and learning curve dealing with our website and my other new project! Read my Web Woes for the details. But I persevered and not only is our site back up and better then ever so is my new (and final resting place) website and blog.
Pei Lin is off on a company retreat to Beijing for the weekend so I am going through everything making piles of stuff to keep and discard as we prepare to move into our new home. We are downsizing a bit so everything must be evaluated and determined whether or not to keep. But it will be worth it. I just came home from taking a look, and our place is about 95% complete and the floor and paint colors look better then I imagined they would.
Life is good but will be much better when Pei Lin gets home!!
Tonight on the way to meet some friends for dinner, I got an idea about something I could do on our blog. Well what I thought would take just a few minutes turned into 2 hours…Still isn’t perfect but I think a cool addition. The addition was uploading collages so that our header could be randomized. So each and every time you visit our site, or different pages on our site, you will see different pictures of us. If you visit often, you will see them all!
Tonight we met some new friends and said goodbye to an old one. Our new friends are a group of Shenzhen bloggers who over the course of time have met one another and formed a social group which is exactly what we have been looking for. A great way to meet friends outside of the bar atmosphere. The friend we said goodbye to was really just an aquaintence who is moving to Singapore. We wished him good luck and headed home so I could work on our blog!
